## About Curtis Ashby

Curtis Ashby is a Tacoma muralist, illustrator and graphic designer. His large-scale public paintings, often built around birds and other regional wildlife, are on buildings, traffic boxes and hospital walls around Tacoma, Puyallup and Sumner.

He joined the City of Tacoma's mural roster in 2016 and has since painted for cities, nonprofits, hospitals and local businesses, including a full-building mural for the Tahoma Audubon Society and work at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. He is a senior graphic designer at Foster's Creative and previously served as vice chair of the Metro Parks Tacoma Arts & Heritage Council.
