## Why go

It's an evening of the year's best short climbing, skiing, paddling and expedition films, in a room full of people who'd rather be outside.

## What happens

A program of films from the Banff Centre's touring festival, which visits more than 40 countries. The Tacoma screening runs 6 to 9:30pm.

## Good to know

The Mountaineers listed ticket details as "to come" when we checked. Their calendar also showed a December 9 Tacoma listing, so there may be a second night.

**Next year:** early December in Tacoma. Watch The Mountaineers' Tacoma Branch events.
