## Why go

Live glassblowing never gets old, and McDonald is the real thing: Tacoma-born, Penland-trained, and battle-tested on national TV — demonstrating as part of The Current award and the Refract festival.

## What happens

A four-hour demonstration, 11am to 3pm on October 16. Seating is limited and first come, first served, so arrive early. McDonald returns Saturday the 17th for an artist talk before Ode to Diligence closes (separate event, verify separately).

## Good to know

No admission price was stated on the event page; confirm cost, if any, before going.
