## Why go

Two hours in Point Defiance's old-growth forest with a Park Guide who knows where the eagles and woodpeckers hang out. It's free, and you don't need to sign up.

## What happens

Sunday, October 25, 9am to 11am. Meet at the entrance gate to Five Mile Drive, just past the Owen Beach road turn-off. The walk happens on the fourth Sunday of every month, rain or shine.

## Good to know

Bring binoculars if you have them; the guides have extras to lend. Expect up to three miles on unpaved, uneven trail. Questions go to the Park Guides at (253) 345-4617.
