What happens
Live music accompanies the lighting, with a visit from Santa. The Gig Harbor Waterfront Alliance provides complimentary cookies and cocoa at the event.
Good to know
The Alliance lists the tree-lighting gathering from 4:30 to 6:30pm; it does not give a separate countdown time. The Gig Harbor Lighted Boat Parade follows on another December weekend, with Skansie Brothers Park among the shore viewing locations.
