Why go
This one is a neighborhood celebration rather than a stage show, out on the Lincoln District’s business strip. Come hungry.
What happens
Lion dancers work their way along South 38th Street, with food vendors and local businesses out on the street. Tacoma Art Museum has joined in past years with a table and art-making activities.
Good to know
The 2026 festival ran from 11am to 3pm, centered at 3801 S. Yakima Ave. The listings we found didn’t give a price or name an organizer.
Next year: it follows the lunar calendar, so the date moves. Look for it on a weekend in late January or February.
