Why go
Thanksgiving morning, a chip-timed 5K through northeast Tacoma, and a 3K you can walk. It’s the run the Center at Norpoint calls Tacoma’s original Thanksgiving fun run, and it’s the one where strollers count as normal.
What happens
Thursday, November 26, race start at 9am from the Center at Norpoint. Both the 5K and the 3K run or walk start and finish there, through northeast Tacoma.
Good to know
Early registration, September 14 to November 8, is $35 with a t-shirt or $20 without; November 9–24 is $40/$25; race week, November 25–26, is $45/$30. Register by November 12 to be sure of a race shirt. Ages 5 and under are free with a registered adult. The course is stroller and animal friendly.
Next year: Thanksgiving morning in late November; Parks Tacoma posts the following year’s race in the fall.
