Why go
It’s the easiest way to wear green in public before 9am without explaining yourself. The 5K welcomes walkers, and the half and 10K go out along the waterfront.
What happens
Three distances start in downtown Tacoma. The half marathon and 10K are out-and-back routes along Ruston Way and the Wilson Way bridge; the 5K is 3.1 miles. The Tacoma City Marathon Association puts it on.
Good to know
We couldn’t confirm 2026 prices. For 2027, the race’s registration page lists $40 for the 5K, $50 for the 10K and $85 for the half before price increases.
Next year: March 13, 2027. Registration opens October 16, 2026.
