Two days of racing on May 1 and 2, 2027: 5K, 10K, the Ghost of Tacoma and a kids 1K at Dune Peninsula, then a marathon and half over the Narrows Bridge.

Why go
The Sunday course crosses the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and finishes at Dune Peninsula, which means runners get the bridge and the waterfront in the same 13.1 or 26.2 miles.
What happens
Saturday is the shorter day: 5K and 10K at 8am, the Ghost of Tacoma marathon and half at 9am, and a kids 1K at 9:30am, all starting and finishing at Dune Peninsula Park. Sunday’s marathon and half marathon start at 7:30am at Tacoma Narrows Airport, cross the bridge and run through Point Defiance before finishing at Dune Peninsula. Shuttles run from Point Ruston to the Sunday start from 5am, and the return shuttle is free. Runners who do the Ghost on Saturday and a marathon or half on Sunday qualify for Marathon Maniacs or Half Fanatics.
Good to know
Entry is $115 for the marathon, $100 for the half, $50 to $55 for the 5K or 10K and $10 for the kids 1K, and it climbs to $195, $175 and $80 by race weekend. Shuttle seats to the Sunday start cost extra and have to be bought with registration or added later. Packet pickup runs April 30 and May 1 at the Point Ruston Public Market, 5101 Yacht Club Road in Ruston, and race-day pickup is at each start line. The marathon has a six-hour limit, with an early start for anyone who needs it. Parking at the Point Ruston garage is free.
