Why go
A new play with a real pedigree: born in the Playhouse’s own Festival of New Voices, Donna Kaz’s story follows urban forestry expert Edna Gregory through 1981 New York, friendship, and chosen family.
What happens
The October 18 performance is a Sunday 2pm matinee in the October 9–25 run. Note the pay-what-you-can industry night follows at 7:30pm the same evening — same show, cheaper seats, separate crowds.
Good to know
Book through the Playhouse box office link. Pricing was not shown on the show page at check time (the feed listed $5–$32, unconfirmed), and age guidance was not stated.
