Pumpkin Patches Near Tacoma: The 2026 List
Free walk-in fields or a full-day farm festival? The 2026 pumpkin patches in Puyallup, Sumner, Buckley and Gig Harbor, sorted by the kind of day you want, with dates, prices and dog rules.

Every October somebody in the group chat asks which pumpkin patch to go to, and the answers come in two kinds. Go to a free farm, walk into the field, pay for the pumpkin and be home by nap time. Or buy tickets and make a day of it, with a zip line, a corn maze and a goat to feed.
The price gap between those two days is wide. Four weekend tickets at Maris Farms in Buckley come to $132 bought online, and its pumpkin patch costs extra on top. At Picha Farms in Puyallup, getting in is free and the corn maze is $8 a person.
So the 2026 patches in Puyallup, Sumner, Buckley and Gig Harbor are sorted below by the kind of day you’re after. Dates and prices come from the farms’ own websites where they post them. Where a farm doesn’t, we’ve used SouthSoundTalk’s September roundup and said so. If you’re wondering about McMillin Farm out on Highway 162, ParentMap reports it’s closed this year.
Before you go
ParentMap’s 2026 pumpkin guide has the practical list:
- Wear boots and layers.
- Leave the stroller at home, because the ground is bumpy.
- Bring cash and a card, since some farms take only one or the other.
- A lot of farms only have portable toilets, so pack hand sanitizer.
- Put something down in the trunk and bring spare shoes for the drive home.
Dogs: most farms don’t allow them, ParentMap says. Knutson Farms says no pets, and SouthSoundTalk reports no dogs at Spooner. SouthSoundTalk lists Double R and Sidhu as dog-friendly, and Picha as allowing dogs everywhere except the maze and the hayride.
Timing: most patches close October 30 or 31. Harbor Farms wraps up October 25.
Walk in, pick one, go home
Picha Farms, Puyallup
Free to get in, and still plenty to do. The patch is open through October 30: weekends 10am to 6pm, weekdays 3 to 6pm. The five-acre corn maze costs $8 (free for ages 3 and under) and takes its last people at 5:30pm. This year’s has eight trivia questions about the country’s 250th birthday. Hayrides are $5 (free for 2 and under), the kiddie train is $2, and the pumpkin slingshot is $2 a shot. Hit the target and you get $5 off a pumpkin. A bluegrass band plays every weekend from noon to 4pm, and costumed characters visit on Saturdays from 1 to 3pm. The farm takes cash, checks and cards.
Where: 6502 52nd St. E., one block off River Road at the 66th Avenue E. bridge. 253-841-4443.
Sidhu Farms, Puyallup
Also free to enter. Per SouthSoundTalk, it’s open daily through October 31, 9am to 6pm, with a corn maze, a petting zoo and a pumpkin slingshot, and dogs are welcome. The farm posts day-to-day updates on Facebook; its website doesn’t list the season.
Where: SouthSoundTalk lists 9809 SR 162 E., just up the highway from Spooner Farms.
Sterino Farms, Puyallup
A U-pick patch, hayrides and a corn maze, plus a night maze if your kids are old enough to enjoy one. Its events page lists hayrides on Fridays from 2 to 6pm and weekends from 10am to 6pm ($5, free for 5 and under). The corn maze runs daily from 9am to 5pm ($10, free for 5 and under). The night maze is open October 16 and 17 until 10pm, with last entry at 9:20pm.
One catch: the page doesn’t give a year. Its dates do fall on 2026’s Fridays and Saturdays, but call the farm’s produce market (open daily 8am to 6pm) before you plan around them.
Where: 6116 52nd St. E. The produce market is at 6006 52nd St. E., 253-922-8945.
Double R Farms, Puyallup
Double R calls its pumpkin selection the biggest in the valley. Per SouthSoundTalk, there’s a five-acre corn maze, pumpkin slingshots and weekend hayrides when the weather cooperates, and dogs are welcome. The farm hasn’t posted 2026 hours or prices that we could find, so call ahead.
Where: 5820 44th St. E. 253-227-5385.
Make a day of it
Knutson Farms, Sumner
The Patch is the full farm-festival setup: corn mazes big and small, a hay maze, an animal barn, farm rides, jump pads and duck races. It runs through October 31 and is closed Mondays. Tickets come in four admission packages sold online, kids 2 and under are free, and a Pumpkin Pass gets one person in all season. Apple cannons ($10 for 12 shots) and gem mining ($9.99) cost extra.
The big draw is fireworks. On Saturdays, October 17 and 24, the farm stays open until 8pm for a 7:30pm show. Halloween brings a trick-or-treat Farm Fest that’s included with general admission. No pets. The farm’s pages don’t list the patch’s daily hours, so check when you buy tickets.
Where: 16406 78th St. E., Sumner. 253-863-5107.
Spooner Farms, Puyallup
The classic Puyallup harvest festival, with more than 50 varieties of pumpkin, gourd, squash and corn. It’s open daily through October 31, 9am to 6pm, with a beer garden Friday through Sunday. SouthSoundTalk adds a corn maze, slingshots, duck races, weekend pony rides and a play area for kids under 12. Spooner doesn’t post activity prices online. It takes cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express (no checks), and there’s an ATM on site. No dogs, per SouthSoundTalk.
Where: 9710 State Route 162 E.
Maris Farms, Buckley
The biggest production on this list, and the farthest drive. Fall Fest is open mostly Friday through Sunday in October, with public hours from 1pm on Thursdays, October 15 and 22. The farm is closed to the public October 14, 21 and 28, which are school-group days. Check the farm’s calendar for each day’s hours.
Admission covers most of the farm, including the 42-inch-minimum Mt. Mattercorn Mega Slide. The pumpkin patch, goat feeding, apple blasters and a few other extras cost more. Everyone 3 and up needs a ticket, and buying online is cheaper than at the gate. SouthSoundTalk lists weekend tickets at $33 online and $37 at the gate, weekdays at $24 and $27, and pumpkins at 50 cents a pound. Parking is free, you can bring your own food, and the farm stays open rain or shine.
The Haunted Woods is a separate ticket and a 35-minute walk, and the farm says it isn’t for kids under 12. A daylight version with no actors and no jump scares runs on some dates.
Where: 25001 Sumner-Buckley Hwy., Buckley.
Small, and booked ahead
Harbor Farms, Gig Harbor
Across the Narrows, and by timed reservation only. It’s open weekends through October 25, with entry at 10am, 1pm or 4pm, and each ticket is good for two hours. Admission covers the patch, the farm animals, a little western-town play area and lawn games. The tractor barrel ride and apple slingshot cost extra. There’s no food for sale, so pack a picnic. If you just want a pumpkin, the farm sells them with no reservation on Fridays, October 16 and 23, from 4 to 7pm.
Where: 7725 92nd St. NW, Gig Harbor. This is a new location for the farm.
Glass pumpkins
SouthSoundTalk lists the Northwest Glass Pumpkin Patch at the Pioneer Park Pavilion, 330 S. Meridian in Puyallup, on Saturday, October 17, from 9am to 3pm. Local artists sell handmade glass pumpkins. Tacoma Glassblowing Studio promotes the event, so call the studio at 253-383-3499 before you make a special trip.
