Why go
Point Defiance’s gardens get a lot of passing glances. This is the weekend to actually learn something about them, from the horticulturists who look after them.
What happens
Guided tours of the permanent gardens, hands-on workshops where you make something to take home, youth activities, lectures, shopping, food trucks, live music and a beer and wine tasting garden.
Good to know
Admission is free. Workshops and tours need pre-registration, and some activities have tickets. In 2026 the festival ran Saturday 11am to 6pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
